Associate Director

Fraser leads the Financial, Legal and Professional Services team at Newington, advising clients in a range of sectors.

Before joining Newington Fraser was Special Adviser to Sir David Lidington between 2016 and 2019 in his roles as Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster in the Cabinet Office, Secretary of State for Justice and Leader of the House of Commons.

He was responsible for a range of constitutional, parliamentary and political issues, including the Union and devolution, electoral policy and cross-government working. He previously worked across all justice policy areas and the management of the Government’s legislative programme in his former roles.

Fraser began his career working for a senior Conservative MP and Minister in 2010, working on a range of national and international policy issues, and has been involved in a number of local and national election campaigns.
